What we do.
Tagesteller is an interview podcast and archive of special dishes. We, Kirsten Borchert and Steffi Parlow, ask Viennese seniors to share a dish from their lives with us and you. We invite a guest to our table. Every meeting starts with their personal recipe that we cook for them. Together we eat, talk and listen to unexpected stories.
Why we do this.
Very personal recipes are an expression of a life story and identity. With this archive, we collect and preserve this knowledge. Foods and their stories that would otherwise be forgotten remain accessible.
