The project KLEINE POST, art in public space in Lower Austria want to set a sign of solidarity for all those who have to master special challenges in the time of the pandemic.
Cooking something good for yourself or friends and family can be balm for the soul. The artist and chief Steffi Parlow has set herself precisely this maxim for the project, to get people to do good for themselves and others, especially in these times. The recipe she suggests for this is mustard eggs, Parlscher style – a food that she associates with her childhood and a deep sense of wellbeing. She passed it on to everyone with the request and invitation to cook it again, to pass on the recipe and to send a photo of the cooked dish to the artist by e-mail – in order to create a social network of care.
